the breakfast meals and staff were really good. i had a room with a nice, expansive view of the city. common areas like the ground floor bar and reception were comfortable.
Hair and fluff were on my bed on the first day. the bathroom basin was blocked. It drained very slowly. the light in the wardrobe would not turn off when the door was closed.

The room felt a bit underwhelming. It lacked that pampering feel you'd expect. there was only one bathrobe. we also only had one breakfast tea bag and one small bottle of water. i expected a bit more, especially since i've worked for the brand and know the "celebrity treatment" it can provide but it wasn't there.

The location is excellent, close to the central station (it made travel very easy). The breakfast selection was great, including fresh items. I was grateful for the wide variety of choices available.
The bathroom seemed a bit outdated. The shower head was fixed, it lacked a detachable option (this was slightly inconvenient).
